Kermit the Frog Eulogizes Ozzy Osbourne’s Career and We Were NOT Emotionally Prepared
It’s been roughly 24 hours since his passing, but we might have found the most emotionally touching tribute — at least when it comes to our younger selves. And that’s because the one and only Kermit The Frog has paid tribute to the fallen “Prince Of Darkness”.
In a social media post on the official Muppets page, a typed out note ostensibly from the green one reminisces about his time with Ozzy Osbourne and how important he was culturally. In the note, Kermit mentions the album Kermit: Unpigged, which saw various Muppets performing with actual human counterparts. Ozzy performed with Miss Piggy on a rendition of Steppenwolf’s “Born to Be Wild.”
Rather than screw up the amphibian’s words of remembrance, here’s exactly what Kermit typed up for the Ozzman:
“No one rocked harder than the great Ozzy Osbourne.
“We loved working with him on our album Kermit: Unpigged. He recorded “Born to Be Wild” with Miss Piggy – the perfect song for both of them!
“Every time we bumped into Ozzy over the years, he made us feel just as cool as he was.
“We loved having a friend like Ozzy Osbourne and we feel so lucky to have known him, worked with him and experienced his music for so many decades.”
WHO THE FUCK IS CUTTING ONIONS?! WHO TOLD YOU THAT WAS OKAY? NOW I CAN BARELY TYPE BECAUSE THE ONIONS ARE MAKING ME TEAR UP.. NO OTHER REASON….
