Guitar Master John 5 Announces New Solo Album ‘Ghost’

0

Goddamn this guy has been busy over the years. John 5, who’s worked with a grip of artists and bands during his career, is apparently dropping his 14th solo album titled Ghost. He’s also shared a single from the record “Deviant,” that you can watch the video for below.

Ghost has features from a few different musicians, like Tommy Lee, Stephen Perkins (Jane’s Addiction, Porno for Pyros), and legendary drummer Kenny Aronoff, who’s work with big ass names like Ringo Starr, Lynard Skynard, Smashing Pumpkins, and more.

John 5 himself had this to say about his new single and upcoming record:

Ghost is perhaps my proudest achievement to date. To me, the meaning of life is doing what you love. And this is what I love. I am surrounded by ghosts in my life and I needed to honor them with this album. It is what I was meant to do. I’m so happy to have had some incredibly talented friends join me on this album. On ‘Deviant,’ Stephen Perkins’ drums helped bring the track to life. And having the great Bryan Beller on bass… you can’t get much better than that.”

You can pre-save Ghost by going here, and preorder any of the limited vinyl variants, which include green splatter, red splatter, and opaque red. Find that here.

Ghost is out October 10, just before John 5 hits the road with fellow musician Richie Kotzen for a two month tour. Before then, John 5 will join his old Mötley Crüe bandmates for their 10-show residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas, which starts September 12.
