Tonight will be a major moment for death metal band Nile, as they not only got to announce the hiring of ex-Vitriol member Adam Roethlisberger to fill in the vacancy left by Dan Vadim Von, but they also get to debut his ass live to kick off their tour with Cryptopsy.

In a post on his official Instagram page, Nile guitarist and vocalist Karl Sanders made the announcement, touting Roethlisberger’s bone fides as a killer musician and the right man for the job.

“Announcement time! We’re very happy to welcome Adam Roethlisberger to NILE on bass and vocals. Adam has already put in an incredible amount of work, proving himself not only as a fierce player but also as a great teammate fully up to the challenge.

“We’re sounding more powerful and heavier than ever, and we can’t wait to unleash it for you on tour.”
