New Act VBO to Make Their Debut on 70000 Tons of Metal Cruise
It’s almost that time again to sail the seven seas. Well, it’s more like one sea, that’s actually not a sea, but an ocean. The one and only Atlantic, which will floatingly host the 2026 edition of the one and only 70000 Tons of Metal cruise. A new act is set to make their live debut on the shit, and it’s sure to sound interesting.
VBO, or, Vice Business Only, is a new project made up off Francesco Cavalieri, the lead vocalist of the Italian power metal band Wind Rose, and the electronic musician Simone Giusti. It’s said to be a fusion of the two genres—heavy riffing metal and synthy sonics, but the duo are intentionally keeping things hush hush, so we’ll just have to see for sure once they hit the water.
The band described their addition to the 70000 Tons of Metal lineup as such:
“We are VBO: Vice Business Only. Did you really think you could sail without us? What kind of party would it be without the bad boys? Forget about it… This is the plan, open your ears: we’re bringing champagne, our passion and our asses to the stage of the most metal cruise in the world: Miami – Nassau. We will be performing two world premiere concerts of our 80’s-flavored synthwave metal, and you will be the first witnesses of our rise to power, right on time to join us. And when we run out of champagne? We’re going back to refill bottles from our friends in Vice City. If you like us, come and you’ll be our guest of honor, you have our word. And for those who don’t like us, we hope they enjoy swimming to Miami. Bring yourself a nice elegant dress… It will serve you in both cases.”
The cruise takes off in January 2026 from Miami, Florida to Nassau, Bahamas, floating for four days as a massive metal festival runs through two sets by each of its 60 acts. For more info, head here.
