Testament Let Loose a Firey Cover of Metallica’s “Seek & Destroy” for Yet Another Compilation
There’s zero need in the year of our lord 20205 that any sort of tribute compilation for a band a big as Metallica would be necessary, but people apparently don’t agree. That’s why we’re here talking about Silver Lining Music’s star-studded tribute to Metallica‘s debut album Kill ‘Em All, aptly dubbed No Life ‘Til Leather – A Tribute To Metallica’s Kill ‘Em All.
With promotion in mind, it only makes sense that you’d release the cover of a band that most recently put out an absolute banger record in Testament‘s Para Bellum. Hence why this morning we got the Testament version of the iconic Metallica track, “Seek and Destroy.”
You can check out the track below, but they pretty much stay faithful to the original on this one. No death metal drums or anything like the experimentation found on Para Bellum. No, this is just straight up Metalli-thrash.
