Upon a Burning Body’s Tito Felix Quits Band

A lot of things are in transistion, in many ways. Not just things outside of our aural ether, but within it as well. Many bands have had many moving parts so far this year, and now Texas metalcore kids Upon a Burning Body have joined that list. Last night (Wednesday, November 5) they made the announcement that their drummer, Tito Felix, has exited the band after being with them for 11 years.

Upon a Burning Body’s statement on the matter, which they posted on their Instagram, reads as follows:

“As we prepare to enter 2026, we would like to let our fans know that our drummer, Tito, has decided to focus on a new chapter in his life. Tito has been part of UABB for the last 11 years and his energy, skill, and dedication will have a lasting impact. We wish him the best in his new chapterser, and he will always be family to the UABB camp. Thank you for the support throughout the years. – Upon A Burning Body“

Sad to see you go, Tito, but excited to see what you’ve got coming next. Same goes to Upon a Burning Body, who’ve got their “Texas takeover” shows coming up this December along with a few dates in the south in January.
