Four Classic Monster Magnet Albums Will Be Reissued in a Vinyl Box Set

0

What has eight LPs comprising four kick ass albums and serves to be one of the coolest collections of stoner rock this side of the Garden State? If you said “oh, that’s the newly announced Monster Magnet vinyl box set featuring the band’s first four albums,” I would have been surprised because that’s oddly specific and exactly what I was talking about.

Announced earlier today, the box set will include the reissues of 1993’s Superjudge, 1995’s Dopes to Infinity, 1998’s Powertrip, and 2000’s God Says No. Each album will take up two LPs, each on black vinyl. The whole set will be available on April 10, 2026, so if you need the soundtrack to next year’s 4/20 celebrations, you’ll have 10 days to reacclimate yourself to these killer stoner metal releases.

If all of that sounds exactly like the sort of thing you’d be into, you can go on and pre-order the thing. At $168.99, it’s a hell of a steal.
