Brace Yourselves, Megadeth’s Going to Release “Let There Be Shred” This Friday
After the somewhat cringeworthy release of their previous single “I Don’t Care”, you might be inclined to feel that way about Megadeth‘s next single “Let There Be Shred.” It’s coming out this Friday and honestly, I wouldn’t blame you for feeling a bit ambivalent with a title like that. Still, it’s coming so you should be ready for its release.
Set as the self-titled album’s third single, “Let There Be Shred” is also the name for the band’s planned listening event for the new record that will be held in La Vergne, Tennessee on January 17. If you’re in the area for that event, then I’d say go for it — if you can afford the nearly $1,000 ticket price for the exclusive engagement.
Furthermore, the end may be nigh for Megadeth, but that doesn’t necessarily mean your chances to catch them live will be limited. Dave Mustaine’s already come out and said their final farewell tour will take anywhere from three to five years. So yeah… plenty of time to get your Megadeth shows in.
In the meantime, I guess you have a new Megadeth track that may or may not be good… We’ll all find out together when the track goes live this Friday.
