Cattle Decapitation, Aborted, Archspire, and More Announced for Dave Otero’s Flatline Fest
A brand new extreme metal festival is seemingly kicking the door down and letting itself into the picture, as Flatline Audio’s Dave Otero introduced Flatline Fest — a two-day event that’s sure to bring metalheads out to the Mile High City this summer.
Set to take place on June 13 and June 14 at Denver’s Oriental Theater, the festival is being presented by Otero and his fiancé and co-promoter, Chelsea Lowe. Looking at the lineup, it’s impossible not to see this new event as a motherfucker of a show. Headlined by Archspire on the first night and Cattle Decapitation closing things out on the second, Otero said he handpicked the lineup from bands he’s personally worked with as a producer.
“I’ve collaborated with every band in this lineup in the studio over many years and have always wanted to put something like this together. The fest is a chance to celebrate those friendships in one of our favorite independent venues.”
Though the bill is stacked with other acts like Aborted, Inferi, Allegaeon, and more, one set attendees won’t want to miss is the live debut of the masked band Nuclear Power Trio. Though there are rumors that the band is comprised of Allegaeon, Havok, and Cephalic Carnage members, all we know is that they kick all kinds of ass and getting to see their first live show ever is one hell of a get for a brand new festival.
The full lineup as it stands right now is as follows:
Day 1 — Saturday, June 13, 2026:
- Archspire
- Aborted
- Nuclear Power Trio (live debut)
- Inferi
- Of Feather and Bone
- Clusterfux
Day 2 — Sunday, June 14, 2026:
- Cattle Decapitation
- Allegaeon
- The Zenith Passage
- Cephalic Carnage
- In the Company of Serpents
- Necropanther
Tickets are available right now over at FlatlineFest.com, with weekend passes available for $95 and one-day passes available for $50 (those prices don’t include ticketing platform fees, though). Judging once again by the lineup, that’s a killer deal.
