Amorphis Confirms September 26 Release Date for New Album ‘Borderland’
At the beginning of the year, Amorphis announced that they were working on their 15th studio album, and as you can imagine, it got their fans hyped. Although the band has shared a range of live compilation full-lengths over the last few years, it’s been a solid three years since the band last released new music.
Yet after months of teasing, Amorphis finally shared an update through its social media accounts that their 15th studio album, Bordeland, is officially scheduled to come out on September 26.
Speaking about their new album, Amorphis guitarist Esa Holopainen said the new record will feature producing
“Borderland is the first Amorphis album produced in collaboration with Danish producer Jacob Hansen. Before that, we had made three amazing records at Jens Bogren’s studio. During the planning phase of the project, we strongly felt that it was time to explore something new and see what working with a different producer might bring to the table!”
This October, the band is joining Arch Enemy on their European Blood Dynasty 2025 tour alongside support acts Eluveitie and Gatecreeper. Following that, Amorphis are returning to their homeland, Finland, for a short tour this December. Check out the full list of dates below.
