Acid Bath’s First 2026 Show Will Feature Obituary as an Opener

Revitalized sludge metal outfit Acid Bath have been touring a whole lot lately, adding shows here and there and having various bands open for them. It’s been a pretty good method of keeping the hype going, I’ll admit. With tour dates already lined up throughout the rest of the year, it’s looking like they’ve begun putting their sights on 2026.

Earlier this week, the band announced their first show of 2026, which is slated to take place at The Caverns in Grundy County, Tennessee on March 21. And for those wondering, yes that venue’s the one that’s set in a natural cave, which should make for a killer location to see a metal show.

But that’s not all — joining them on stage that night will be Saint Avangeline, Herakleion, and Obituary. Talk about a badass lineup.
