Gaerea Dropped a New Single “Submerged”

And now for something kinda wild. Our Portuguese friends in the black metal outfit Gaerea are back with new music. They’re still masked in their striking black and gold attire, we still don’t really know who they are, but none of that trule matters because they dropped their latest single “Submerged.”

Released so far as an unexpected standalone piece, “Submerged” still features the group’s willingness to kinda go wherever the fuck they want musically. They’re still rocking their classic take on black metal, but the song’s got metalcore in its DNA, which may be awesome for some and divisive for others. It’s multi-layered and interesting from start to finish.

We don’t know whether this is all about a new album or not, but Gaerea’s out here flexing their creativity muscle. Check out the track below and take note that they’ll be hitting the road later this year with Orbit Culture and Atlas. You can catch the list of dates for that run below.]
