Life of Agony’s Alan Robert Illustrated an Official ‘The Conjuring’ Coloring Book
Horror fans with a penchant for Brooklyn-based alternative metal may be a small subset of people, but something’s coming out soon that’ll scratch both itches at the same time. This coming March, an official coloring book based on The Conjuring will be released and Life of Agony bassist and illustrator Alan Robert is the man behind that project.
The news comes just days after the latest movie in the series, The Conjuring: Last Rites, hits theaters everywhere. Boasting more than 60 pages of custom art based on the horror series, the book can serve as your creative outlet as long as you’ve got time, patience, and a box of Crayons.
Speaking of the book’s eventual release, Robert said ‘The Conjuring’ flicks have been a personal source of excitement over the years, given his personal connection to some of the folks behind the series..
“As a lifelong horror fan, it was a true honor to bring The Conjuring Universe to life on the page. This is one of the most successful horror franchises in cinematic history—and every film, from The Conjuring and Annabelle to The Nun, has left a lasting impact on the genre.
“What made this project even more meaningful for me was the personal connection I have to it. I’m proud to call The Conjuring screenwriters Chad and Carey Hayes good friends of mine, as well as Corin Hardy, the brilliant director behind The Nun, who I’ve known for over 30 years. Their passion and creativity helped shape these films, and it was a privilege to honor their work through my illustrations. Each piece was crafted with care to reflect the eerie atmosphere, iconic characters, and terrifying moments that fans know and love. This book is my love letter to the franchise—and I hope it sends shivers down your spine… even in black and white.”
The Conjuring: The Official Conjuring Universe Coloring Book will be available everywhere books are sold through Insight Editions/Simon & Schuster when it’s released on March 26, 2026. You can pre-order your copy today.
