Charge up your controllers and turn up your wireless headsets, bois and gurls. Battlefield 6 might actually be good this time around and it’s launching on October 10 for pretty much everything that can play a modern video game. And while that’s exciting, some information about the game’s soundtrack means I get to write about it on MetalSucks.

According to information provided by Battlefield Bulletin, the soundtrack to Battlefield 6 will be a mostly rock-oriented affair, with a majority of the songs listed falling firmly within the nu metal category. We’re talkin’ “Awake” by Godsmack, “Bodies” by Drowning Pool,” and of course “Break Stuff” by Limp Bizkit. As previously reported, the game will also feature a new Limp Bizkit tie-in track titled “Making Love To Morgan Waller”.

For the uninitiated, Battlefield 6 is the latest entry in a series of massively popular multiplayer first-person shooters. It’s pretty much the direct competition of Call Of Duty and this time around it’s looking like BF6 is showing a ton of promise thanks to its various new features and gameplay modes. Throwing in good tunes like Pantera’s “Domination” is just icing on the cake.

The full list of tracks listed on the game’s apparent soundtrack are as follows:

  • Godsmack – “Awake“
  • Drowning Pool – “Bodies“
  • Limp Bizkit – “Break Stuff“
  • Limp Bizkit – “Making Love To Morgan Wallen“
  • Limp Bizkit – “Battlefield: After-Party“
  • Pantera – “Domination“
  • Filter – “Hey Man Nice Shot“
  • Red Hot Chili Peppers – “Can’t Stop“
  • The Kinison – “You’ll Never Guess Who Died“
  • Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg – “Nuthing’ But A G Thang“
  • The Prodigy – “Invaders Must Die“
  • The Interrupters – “Got Each Other” (feat. Rancid)

  • Chalk – “Pain“

Battlefield 6 will be released on October 10 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam, EA App, Epic Games Store). You can find out how to pre-order your copy today.
