Norwegian black metal outfit 1349 have unveiled plans for the release of a new live album titled ‘Winter Mass’ on November 28 via Season Of Mist. According to the band, they’d recorded their November 20, 2021 concert in Oslo’s venue Parkteatret.

In an effort to get people stoked about the upcoming release, the band put out a live video performance of “I Am Abomination” off the band’s 2005 album Hellfire. Speaking of the clip in question, 1349 frontman Ravn said that show featured some unparalleled energy levels.

“This show was captured between two lockdowns in the recent plague, and it mirrors the energy that we feel onstage to perfection. What you see here is the raw outburst of what we label ‘Aural Hellfire.’ To top it off, we also included all of the drawings that Kim Holm has done of us, thus far, and he also is able to convey that energy through his art. Rejoice and ravish this complete package of raw Hellfire!”

The live album will drop on November 28 via Season of Mist, but you can preorder your copy today.
