Former Illdisposed Guitarist Rasmus Henriksen Passes Away at 47

It sucks to say that we’ve now got another fallen soldier in our metal world. Rasmus “Hække” Henriksen, who was the guitarist for Danish death metal band Illdisposed from 2019–2023, has sadly passed away. He was just 47.

The band shared the following statement about it this past Monday, October 27, the day after he died:

“Rasmus ‘Hække’ Henriksen [26.09.78 – 26.10.25]. Forever in our hearts. You left us way too soon. Your kindness, endless positivity and heavy riffs will be missed. Fly free dear friend and let your energy remain in all of us. We love you. So long. Our deepest condolences to the family, friends and your dear wife Rolle.”
