Ice Nine Kills Tease ‘Scream 7’ Collaboration at Wembley, Marketing Execs Everywhere Approve

In a move that honestly should have been seen from a mile away, it seems horror-based metalcore/theatricore act Ice Nine Kills is joining forces with yet another horror IP. This time, they’re trading Art the Clown for Ghostface, the iconic killer of the Scream movie franchise.

News of their apparent collaboration with the 2026 film Scream 7 was teased during the band’s sold out Wembley Arena show in London this past Friday. As you can see in the Instagram post shared below, they took a moment during the show to receive a “call” from the aforementioned killer, before the logos for both the movie and the band are shown together. Fans scream, fire billows, vocalist Spencer Charnas is seen with his fist triumphantly in the air.

How that series got to seven movies, I’ll never understand, but that’s beside the point. This isn’t the second official horror-based collaboration Ice Nine Kills has done in their career, with the first being the aforementioned stint they did with Art the Clown and Terrifier 3. That’s also just the tip of the iceberg, as their music heavily draws on their love of horror flicks, with both 2018’s The Silver Scream and 2021’s The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood featuring tracks inspired by movies like A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Saw, and American Psycho, just to name a few.

I’m sure whatever they’ve got planned will get all the Hot Topic kiddies up in a tizzy, but hey — that’s what’s made Ice Nine Kills incredibly successful to the point of touring with the likes of Metallica and selling out arenas in their own right. I guess if it ain’t broke…
