I’m getting old. It’s a fact. I used to get into death metal bands like Morbid and cannible. Loved the thrash of Carcass – Heartwork (only), and the death and roll of Entombed amongst countless other “heavy” bands – pantera, acid bath, etc, etc,…. I still think those bands are great. I still think they were powerful coherent music that made an impact. It’s real music.

Bear with me here, cause I know I’m somewhat closed minded but I never got into punk simply cause every band sounded like shit. You could record better on a boombox. Punks thought it gave the cred. I thought it made their music lifeless and useless. I loved when “metal” bands of the time covered punk music cause the songs sounded like music.

That being said, I simply can not get into any modern band with vocals like this. It is so fucking old and cliche. It’s not angry, it’s fucking annoying. They suck, they can’t sing. Anyone can scream. It is not a talent now.

Know what else, Anger, misery, suffering, hatred, and depression are so fucking lame and boring. Every one is angry, get in line, fuck you.

That being said, love the site. Keep it coming even if it some of it ain’t my thang. Fuck me, I’m nobody but some bitch who has time to whine about shit he has no control or part of.
