TASTE OF CHAOS 2008: THE TOUR SURE TO ANNOY METAL PURISTS EVERYWHERE

So they’ve announced the tour dates and line-up for next year’s edition of the Taste of Chaos tour, and all we can can say is: holy SHIT. Avenged Sevenfold AND Atreyu AND Bullet for My Valentine? All on one tour? I hope they’re gonna be traveling in bullet proof buses with fuck loads of big SWAT team-type security dudes, because every Slayer and Watain fan from here to Gibraltar is gonna be trying to wipe out their three most loathed bands with one fell swoop. I’m serious: Nergal just called me to say he’s pretty sure this tour will bring about the Armageddon, and he didn’t mean it in a cool, “tr00″ kinda way.

Well I love Sevenfold. Atreyu’s…okay. and BFMV…well i could do without them. But it should still be a nice show…that is if there were any actual New England dates. Cunts.

Atreyu has progressively become weaker and weaker, and Bullet For Valentine has been lame since day one. Any band who tries to compare themselves to Iron Maiden and does so without being funny or ironic is dumb as hell.
A7X is the only reason to peep this one.
I want to see A7X but the rest I don’t give a fuck about.
Might have to check this one out. I’ll give the bands a shot.

Avenged – no, not “A7X” – what is that, like lmfao or bff?? – is rather poserish + derivative. But I said their elementary school fans were the worst…their shows make old KISS shows look like AARP meetings.
kinda late comment, but it was a solid show, not the best, but solid. I saw it in biloxi and it wasn’t terrible. A7x did there cover of walk and it sounded great
I actually would’ve liked to go see this show. I like all three of those bands and my girlfriend LOVES Atreyu. But, her and I wound up going to see Chevelle instead… That was a great concert.
I saw A7X support iron maiden at twickenham and they were worthy of being there. They can definitely hold their own. As for atreyu, ive not heard much of them but what i have heard is OK. bullet, has anybody else noticed their similarity to metallica..? Theyre songs are similar, the same old 6 minute dragged out melody. MUCH like metallica. Dont get me wrong, bullet are a band worthy and they know how to get the best out of their instruments but it can get a bit tedious.
