Axl and I saw Maiden last night at the Meadowlands. How the fuck do they still do it? Nothing short of incredible, full production, Eddie, and material from only the first 7 albums. I’m assuming most of you have seen Maiden at some point, so you know what you’re in for and you know what we saw. And if you haven’t… you’re an idiot.
Including this gem of an epic from Powerslave, from which the band played no less than 5 cuts, “Rime of the Ancient Mariner.” So spark up that bowl, take a big sip of coffee, shot of whiskey, line of blow, or whatever the fuck you do to shake off the cobwebs and get going on Saturday morning, and rock the fuck out to this classic.

Damn, this has been one of the top ten shows of my life.
I was there too, and this was an excellent show. I certainly was sparking up my one-hitter during this song. Oh and, just to nit-pick, they did play Fear Of The Dark, which is from their 9th album.
Great show in NJ – hoping to see them when they return to the East Coast in summer. And 4 tracks from Powerslave (Aces, 2 Minutes, Rime, Powerslave. I would have loved to hear The Duelists, Back in the Village, or Flash of the Blade, but no dice).
