ST. NIGGER ARTWORK REVEALED!

For all of you who may call bullshit on my last blog regarding the St. Nigger idea, our old management The Syndicate sent me the artwork that we mocked up for a St. Nigger album cover. The original idea was to do a St. Nigger medley taking all the best parts from St. Anger and making them into one song reminiscent of the And Justice For All… medley Metallica did on Live Shit Binge & Purge. If you notice the old GF logo is on the artwork which means this was before we released Gone Forever. Once again the power of Metallica is within the history of God Forbid. One question: Would you have liked to hear a St. Nigger medley from God Forbid? If so, would it have ruined our second-rate metalcore (emocore according to Blabbermouth posters) career? Thanks to the Rev for the artwork!
By all means, please record and release this. If anyone can kick that album in the ass, it’s God Forbid. I think there are some good riffs, and you guys could destroy “Some Kind of Monster” (the main riff).
Yes, please do. Also, on the next record, you should add more guitar solos. That is all.

I have to admit I am not the biggest God Forbid fan in the world I have seen you guys live at the extreme music festival in Glens Falls NY a few summers ago and you were real good….which by the way had one of the greatest lineups ever…I think you should record this and release it. The idea of an album/song/whatever called St.Nigger sounds awesome to me…..might even bring some more attention to God Forbid which could not hurt at all!
Yes, do it, i think it would be cool to hear some supercharged God Forbid stylings on some of those riffs. There really are a few decent riffs on that album, they just didnt use them to potentia. Would be cool to hear someone elses take and plus…..can you imagine hearing thisstuff with a proper good drummer like GF has? Could be cool. I’d pick it up.
I would be interested in hearing St. Nigger, but this would all be coming as new music to me, because (except the song St. Anger) I havent heard a lick from the album and never had any desire to. Wow, that was quite the fragmented sentence

I’d definitely like to hear something like that, it would be interesting to get your take on it, good or bad. There’s no possible way it could be any worse than the original.

I’m a huge God Forbid fan but it all started with Master of puppets. I haven’t listened to St. Anger since three months after it came out. Lots of musical ideas on St. Anger. They’re just horribly produced- they just go nowhere. Take them somewhere. Give me a new appreciation of that album.
Do it as a bonus ep. but I agree with metalmartyr- do something a little more with the artwork.
whats with the nigger thing? i don’t get it, is there a message or are we praising someone who decides to slap in on there because they think racial slurs are funny, why not choose st.kike or st.wetback, or st.chink, those would be good, thanks for the ignorance and crappy retro-riffs
Well even if you do go through with it, your going to get a lot of heat and your probably going to have to change the name.
For example, Nas (yes nas the rapper) was going to name his album ‘nigger’ but the label pressure and even from politicians and possibly Al Sharpton?

There’s bands out there striving to break new ground and make a name for themselves that would give anything to be in your position… and with your level of success, this is the type of stuff you’re seriously considering? I’m disappointed, maybe you guys should go back to playing VFW’s and make way for artists with better, more original ideas.

I am not offended whatsoever nor am I worried about anything. I think the entire idea of St. Nigger is a total waste of time and actually just plain stupid. Hey, that’s just me. Looking forward to the new record, though.
Thanks man. I think you’ll dig it. Go back and watch Some Kind Of Monster and check out what the title actually means. I think you’ll respect St. Nigger a hell of a lot more.
