So it pains me to say this, but… disappointing DVD…
The camera work, stage set-up/lighting and editing are all quite bland.
Making it an uninteresting and dull live video experience overall.
I’ll stick with the live album, thanks.

Anywho, I caught them on their colors tour down at the Soma in San Diego. It was fucking awesome… only 1 break during the whole set to say hello and engage the audience. Besides that it was a gauntlet of awesome prog shredding. Only downside is the HXC dancers… supposedly its a big thing down in SD.
I’ve been going to BTBAM shows since they were playing Backdoor Skatepark in Greenville, NC. So, I have to say that this DVD proves that these guys have transformed into modern day metal gods. no doubt. if you don’t like it, suck one.
My only complaint is that most of the time when Paul is doing his sickest sweep picking the fucking editor cuts away to shots of the other guys just rocking out. Being an editor, it makes me wanna punch this guy right in the face.
