NEW SUICIDE SILENCE SONG: LET THE ARGUING BEGIN!

Monday, October 27th, 2008 at 4:00pm by Axl Rosenberg

MetalSucks Maniac Razze just sent us this lo-fi clip of Suicide Silence performing a new song, which may or may not actually be titled “Vile Creation.” Suicide Silence have become one of those bands that are wildly successful and yet divide audiences everywhere. Only time will tell if their next album does anything to (suicide) silence the naysayers…

i was there and they sucked. and im not saying that because i dont like the band (im a fan and was extremly stoked about seeing them) but they jsut really let me down because of “technical issues”. but that song was ok. i like when the vocals speed up. that part is cool.

    More heartless, derivative snorefests

I didn’t listen yet because I’m at work, but from the interview with one of their dudes on here a while back, I’m going to bet that this song attempts to incorporate that “progressive” sound that basically every “metalcore” band these days is aiming for.

I actually really liked The Cleansing…for a minute. After a while it got so repetitive I just stopped listening to it altogether. Unless they have a major sound overhaul as their (I think it was) bassist claimed they would, they’re going to be putting out the same record for the years to come.

As a casual fan, alls I gotta say is…oh my GAAAAWD, that song kicked asssssssssssss!

  6. Dr J says:

I’m with PD in the Suicide Silence got boring after about 2 listen throughs. Either way this songs really sounds like anything that would come off of The Cleansing.

  7. Hot Carl says:

I agree that the Cleansing became boring very quickly for me but I still enjoyed. This song caught my interest. I’ll post again after I watch it a few more times and decide that this is boring too.

  8. Kye says:

Unless they can get past this boring deathcore bullshit like Bring Me the Horizon and Blowjob for a Cowboy have managed to do, I still won’t give two shits about these guys

  9. Rohit says:

    aww shucks….no panteradactyl

  10. earthsherm says:

who cares about labeling it. metal is metal in the end, and this is pretty good,

I’m not gonna do anything to divert from the assumption that everyone is gonna start arguing right now:

I have tried to like this stuff and I find it genuinely awful. I witnessed this atrocity in Glasgow when I went to see Behemoth and I’m not sure if I have ever been so displeased as I was that night during SS’ set. They repelled the majority of the crowd to the back of the hall and out the door just to try to diminish the amount that they had to listen to this band for.

I swear I am not one of these ‘oh it’s a band with fringes and breakdowns, I’m gonna guess they are shit’ types. I give these bands a chance but I just think that they are utter shit.

I was really pleased with the Cleansing and listened to it non-stop for awhile. However, when they were touring with (if I remember correctly) Nile and Warbringer, I was a little upset to see the large scene crowd Suicide Silence generated. Maybe its judgmental of me to be turned off by a band that has a big scene following. At any rate, this song seemed a little boring to me.
