ATHEIST: LESS CRAZY THAN A BUNCH OF RELIGIOUS NUTS

In a moment of naivete I simply typed “atheist” into the search field and ended up with a bunch of religious propaganda videos. I even watched a few of them, and let me tell you, people on the Internet are fucking nuts. But you’re reading this here webernet site, so you knew that already.
Once I’d scratched my morning itch for hard-line right-wing religious propaganda I wised up and typed “Atheist band,” ending up on the following live clip of the band Atheist performing “Piece of Time” at Wacken in 2006. Considerably less crazy than the shit I’d watched earlier, but still pretty fuckin’ gonzo.

Not exactly sure how a band who lost their founding bass player and released 3 convention-defying death metal albums that were (and still are) grossly underrated and underappreciated is “literally the luckiest band ever”? I’m happy they’re getting more exposure now, but come on… By the way, that video rules.
I thought he was saying The Faceless were the luckiest band ever… but if I’m wrong, then yeah, that seems kinda backwards.
Pretty sure he was talking about the faceless bro. Touring with cynic and atheist all in one year qualifies you as the luckiest band ever last time I checked
Ahhh, I get it now. I was going to say, “Are The Faceless really that big that it’s such a big boost for Atheist to be touring with them?”
He totally stumbled upon the internet God “THE AMAZING ATHEIST”. He has over 60,000 subscribes and over 4 million video views. He is a total nut. Will never seen a pair of titties in his entire life!

Back in the day (before the black album, you know by whom) when metal was hated by most people, this was the sort of thing you could get. Really different, really non-commercial music. That explains Kreator, Tankard, Pungent Stench, Anacrusis, Carcass, Godflesh, etc.. Different. Interesting. Not the canned commercial crap of the late 90’s. Metal is slowly recovering, but it has to become underground again, if it is to survive… in my humble opinion.
Here we go again. Right-wing Christan is under attack by liberal anti-religion views. Can it please. It’s like celebrities talking about their views. No one cares. Now the peeps that are posting these horrendous videos are more than likely a little screwy, don’t get me wrong.
Now I am not liberal or atheist but I have a healthy enough respect for people to talk about things civilly. The point is you should not be listening to someone from a youtube vid. They will more than likely represent the stereotypical person most people are not like.
