Friday, August 14th, 2009 at 3:00pm by MetalSucks
Free shit is good shit, especially when it’s not even shit, but awesome music. MetalSucks is proud to team up with Century Media to offer the exclusive free download of the Century Media 2009 Carnival of Sounds Sampler, featuring tracks from Napalm Death, 3 Inches of Blood, God Forbid, Suicide Silence, Warbringer, Iwrestledabearonce, Daath and many more. All told, it’s 19 tracks of music at the best price, free. How can you beat that?
After the jump, the full tracklisting and the download link.

Download the entire sampler here. You’re welcome. [Promotion has now ended. -Ed.]

I love you guys…today…for this.
Fucking rocks!
I knew if I stuck around something good would pop up…
Very cool. Thanks.
There are 2 songs worth listening to on this sampler
it’s free!
That’s why I downloaded it anyway
I was literally about to say the same thing.
I take that back. There are 4. Not that I’m ever gonna look a gift horse in the mouth, but whatever.
I’m going with your views. exactly.
I can’t believe how shitty this label has become. With the exception of Napalm Death and Warbringer they would have to pay me to listen to the rest of that shit.
Bitch, bitch, bitch, if you don’t like it don’t download it. Simple.
Awesome, thanks!
Some rather shitty bands on here, but still going to give this a download and a nice long listen.
Thanks!
When I first saw this I was worried it was ICP-related…
That said, the only song that I would want from this is the 3 Inches Of Blood track… anything else on here that I have any interest in, I already have.
this is a nice thing to come across on an otherwise relatively lame friday, thanks!
Wow, Luna Mortis is awful.
It’s about 50/50 for me. But hey, it was free. I’d prefer if it was in 320kbps though. 256 is far from horrid (if it was 192, I wouldn’t even keep it on my pc), but it can be better.
Aw your poor delicate ears!
I always discover at least one or two bands I’ve never heard or given a chance on these samplers. That makes it a good marketing strategy.
Is my Windows Media Player screwed up, or is only one of these tracks tagged with the artist and song titles? If it’s the latter, that’s not the most brilliant marketing strategy I’ve ever seen.
Yeah I only got the Despised Icon track labled on Zune
I haven’t downloaded it, but I retag everything I download anyway, so it wouldn’t bug me too much.
yeah, had to retag everything. only took a few minutes though. there are a couple of gems in there so it’s worth it.
I downloaded this just to be in the know about what the kids are listening to nowadays – most of my mates listen to mainstram metal.
Yes, the sampler’s free. But it’s mostly drivel. The Napalm Death track is the only one I would listen to more than once. Most of the other bands sounded the same, I had to keep checking the tracklist to find out who I was listening to, (most of) the music was that generic.
I’d never heard of Luna Mortis before today. I wish that were still true. Terrible.
welcome to the life of underground metal
I quite like the life of underground metal. Think I’ll stick around.
Wow, Luna Mortis really is terrible. Good lord…
at least the chick lead singer in that band is hot. but she’s no Christina Scabbia, that’s a tough 1 to top
Not really sure why everyone doesn’t like that song. Listening to it now and it’s really not bad.
The only half-decent artist on here is Napalm Death, and I don’t even like that song. You’d have to pay me to listen to that crap.
even warbringer Zilty? o come on
I have not found a single one of these new thrash bands that I like at all. Most of it just copies the old stuff, but just isn’t as good.
Your musical tastes differ from mine. Would you like to fight about it? You are pretty much asking for it.
Is this another internet fight once again on MetalSucks.net lol. Oh geez, I guess we should have seen it coming.
sweet a new 3IOB track. i already own napalm death, daath, lacuna coil, and warbringer. fuck iwrestledabearonce and the ibrokethespacebarcore bands or deathcore bands with stupid long names like arsonists get all the girls similar to and not limited to we butter the bread with butter. other than that i’ll sort it out and see what else might be good. thanks again fellas and btw you aren’t the only one’s with Weekend Nachos i got the album today.
YOUR A PUSSY
Ever since Iced Earth left this label, it’s really only got a few good bands left… it used to have a bunch. But hey, Roadrunner does this too, so if I’m getting free songs, I can’t complain.

^Proof that Iced Earth was never a good band.
well i went through a phase of Iced Earth. now that i look back they were ok. i only got into them because of their former drummer/ howard stern regular Richard Christy. I didn’t like death metal and when i found out he was in death at a point i figured i would check em out and struck it rich. i felt that way but it was not sustained with Iced Earth. btw richard has a new band called Charred Walls Of The Damned. check em out
Yes, he’s a great drummer, but only on Schaffer writes stuff for Iced Earth, so Christy’s creativity was ruined from the start. Christy did an especially great job on The Sound of Perseverance.
most definitely Bite the Pain ftw
Shitty tracklist/roster, so I didn’t download.
YAY!
Damn. If I didn’t already have the God Forbid and Daath albums, I would be much more excited for this. Ah well – at least I’ll probably like one or two of the other tracks.
Is this another Century Metalcore attempt to give out free boring products???
I only downloaded this so i could play it really loud and piss my parents off. wait, i’m 40 years old and my parents are dead…what is wrong with me?
I love how many spoiled little fuckers there are on this site. It’s free you bitches. People used to be grateful for free stuff. I guess you’d have to grow up outside of the sheltered suburban life to realize that though. You cunts.
Btw, thanks guys. Good stuff on the sampler.
Please tell me more about suburban life and how free correlates to good music, of which there is none on this sampler.
Thank you for having common sense. Also, last time I downloaded a CM sampler, the songs were at 128kbps, which is pretty shitty quality if you ask me. Paying for such a compressed product would be retarded. Either get the actual CD, 320kbps, v0, FLAC, or nothing at all!
thank you
too bad the only track I would’ve bothered checking out (the Napalm Death one) I already own the CD of.
oh well save myself a few minutes and a few mb of space.
new Despised Icon track is sick.. unmastered or not shit owns.
Too much junk on this sampler.
Quite pleased with this, my mind has recently opened up to the -core styles so I’m enjoying the vast majority of this. Not too shabby for a Stumble.
Sean from agatg gave me this cd at their sc show
