New Candidate for Most Metal Wedding Ever: Bride and Groom Shred Down the Aisle

If there’s one thing metal is known for, its romance. No music better expresses the emotion of love than that which created such classics as “I Remember You,” “The End of Heartache,” and “Necropedophile.”

Little wonder, then, that we’ve seen so many metal-themed wedding activities over the course of the past few years: proposals at Fear Factory concerts, people getting married at Ozzfest, walking down the aisle to “Raining Blood,” actually somehow getting Iron Maiden to play the reception, and, most recently, a wedding band playing Converge‘s classic ode to when two become as one, “Concubine.”

Now we have this: guitar teacher Jordan Strauss taught his new wife, Andrea, to play a very metal-sounding rendition of  Pachelbel’s “Canon” on the guitar so that they could play together at their wedding ceremony. Which seems really sweet now, but when he makes her learn Bach’s “Toccata and Fugue in D Minor” for the divorce proceedings, we’ll see how happy-smiley she is.

ANYWAY, here’s video of the blessed event:
