If for some reason you don’t already own Between the Buried and Me’s most recent foray into proggy goodness, The Great Misdirect, well, here’s a good opportunity to give it a shot: for today and today only, Amazon is offering a download of the album for just $2.99. This album is incredible, and made so many year-end lists you’d think it gives BJs, too. And at that price, you should feel guilty if you illegally download the album. Assholes.

    While White Walls is one of my favorite songs ever, and the album Colors is better as a whole, I’m gonna have to say The Great Misdirect has a little more variation and nuance to it and is pretty damn close to Colors in strawberry goodness!

    I’m not paying money for that. The digital age can go fuck itself if it means that I’m going to end up spending money on music that is of lower quality.

    I’ll stick with what I normally do and just buy the CD itself. I don’t give a damn about price if it isn’t the same.
