MUTINY WITHIN’S CHRIS CLANCY SINGS LIKE AN ANGEL… VIVALDI

While some members of the now-defunct Mutiny Within are getting busy with Tommy Vext, singer Chris Clancy — who moved from his native U.K. to freakin’ New Jersey to join the band — now has a new project of his own as well. It’s not quite his project — it’s actually solo guitar instrumentalist Angel Vivaldi’s — but Clancy is one of many of an all-star group of metal vocalists lending their pipes to Vivaldi’s upcoming EP Universal Voices, a re-working of last year’s instrumental-only Universal Language EP.

It sounds pretty much like what you’d expect, which a good thing. It’s really good to hear Clancy’s voice again; that guy is way too talented to stay idle. Vivaldi hasn’t announced a release date for Universal Voices yet, but Chris Barretto [ex-Periphery, ex-Haunted Shores, Ever Forthright], and Tommy Vext are also going to be featured on the EP.
