- Good news! Mötley Crüe’s new single, “Sex,” is available for free download for today and today only, assuming you’re willing to give up your e-mail address.
- Bad news! The song is not very good. I actually think I like it better than anything that was on Saints of Los Angeles — it’s certainly catchier than most of those tunes were — but it suffers from the same problems as pretty both that album and New Tattoo: it’s generic, and the lyrics are too-self-consciously trying to be Crüe-esque. You’re into sex, drugs, and rock n’ roll. We get it.
