Mayhem, Watain, Rotting Christ Announce “We Love Ice Cream” U.S. Tour

Sunshine metallers Mayhem, Watain, and Rotting Christ have just announced that they’ll return to the U.S. this fall for another round of live dates, which they’ve appropriately dubbed the “We Love Ice Cream Tour.” I know of lot of you are going to give this tour shit for being full of alleged “pussy bands” that “aren’t real metal,” but I think that’s ridiculous. Who says metal can’t be an upbeat, happy celebration of friendship and love, holding and hugging, caring and sharing? If it’s bleak you’re looking for, there are already plenty of bands to provide that. Let us the rest of us enjoy our gosh darn ice cream, for jeeze’s sake.
