Every Hour Kills: New Music from Ex-Divinity Guitarist

0

Remember Divinity? Their former guitarist Alan Sacha Laskow has joined forces with a modern melodic metal band called Every Hour Kills, inspired by the anonymous literary quote ‘Every hour wounds, but the last one kills.”

Every Hour Kills are gearing up to release their second record, Fragile Machine, which explores the existential crisis of the future of humanity. What does it mean to be human, if consciousness can be stored in a machine? “Aldebaran” is the first single from the album, and let me just say that if I’d heard the track without knowing the artist, I’d have assumed it was a new TesseracT song; Laskow’s meaty chugging alongside silky-smooth vocal harmonies make for music that sounds suspiciously like TesseracT in the best way possible. Futuristic lyrical themes + actual good musicians + album art with random shapes in space + cheesy CGI music video = the definition of modern prog metal.

Stay tuned for the release of Fragile Machine on July 5.
