Hellyeah Release New Song “Oh My God”

Hellyeah’s new album Welcome Home, featuring the last recordings of Vinnie Paul, will come out in September. We’ve already heard its title track, and today we get another new song called “Oh My God.”

Speaking as someone who was never really a Hellyeah fan, it’s not doing much for me… but speaking as someone with an immense amount of respect for Vinnie’s legacy, it’s eerie listening to the track knowing it was one of the last times he put drums to tape. Respect. I also generally enjoy Chad Gray’s voice, and his performance here is solid.

Welcome Home comes out on September 27th. The band begins a tour with their new drummer, Roy Mayorga (Stone Sour, ex-Soulfly, etc.), in July; dates here.
