Despite Maynard’s righteous claims in “Hooker With A Penis” that we are all the Man, Scott Ian and Joey Belladonna of Anthrax beg to differ, or at least begged to differ back in the day.
Ironically, Anthrax was KW’s first-ever metal concert, as part of the 1989 (?) MTV Headbanger’s Ball Concert Tour with Exodus and Helloween.
My friend’s Mom took us, and she actually fell asleep in her chair in the middle of the show.
Now that’s metal.
