And that would be a generous rating. Seriously, what publicist would actually send us this disc given our track record of trashing C-rate nu-metal bands? (Hed)p.e.’s new album Insomnia is full of exactly what you’d expect; simple nu-metal riffs, rapping, samples in between songs (seriously, who still does this?) and lyrics about smoking pot and doing bitches doggie-style (maybe even both at the same time; but honestly, I wasn’t listening too closely).

The gentlemen in (hed)p.e. might consider taking advice from this guy.
