BEST THING SINCE SLAVE TO THE GRIND: HELL N’ DIESEL

30

Hell N' DieselMetalSucks reader Martijn has tipped to off to the best Skid Row album since Slave to the Grind, only it wasn’t written by Skid Row. Hell N’Diesel, hailing from Sweden (where else?), summon the spirit of Baz and co. circa 1991; high, shrieking vocals courtesy of a man who goes simply by “Evil,” slammin’ bluesy guitar riffs, and searing leads. They’ve even named a song “Sweet Sister,” and it bears more than a little resemblance to the slightly more diminutively named Skid Row tune; but this is just fine with us.

It’s kind of hard to tell, but it looks like Hell N’ Diesel are releasing a new album called Passion for Power sometime this month, and you can pre-order it from their MySpace page.
