GHOST BRIGADE’S VIDEO FOR “CLAWMASTER” IS AWESOME

We somehow missed the debut of “Clawmaster,” the new Fursy Teyssier-directed Ghost Brigade video, when it debuted earlier this week, and, well, shame on us! ‘Cause not only is Ghost Brigade awesome, but, as my headline says, so is the clip. It all heavily stylized, black and white silhouettes — the non-performance footage is all animated, in fact — and there’s real beauty to the sparseness of the thing. I dunno if any of you have played that game Purgatory, but it’s kinda like that. Only instead of getting frustrated that I can’t advance to the next level, I get to listen to some really really great metal.

“Clawmaster” appears on Ghost Brigade’s latest album, Until Fear No Longer Defines Us, which is out now on Season of Mist.
