Björk’s “Bachelorette” Gets the Metal Treatment
French black metallers The Great Old Ones — whose Al-Azif was one of Grim Kim’s favorite albums of 2012 — have released a cover of Björk’s “Bachelorette,” and if you ask me, it’s pretty goddamn cool. It also further bolsters my assertion that covers can be awesome, as long as the band puts their own spin on the material… which The Great Old Ones Certainly have done here.
