Mina Caputo Releases a Risqué New Video, Launches Indiegogo Campaign [NSFW]

0

Former Life of Agony vocalist Mina Caputo has released a video for the new song “Identity” via Billboard, and it’s about as bold a visual statement as you might expect given her history.

There’s no full nudity so the NSFW tag might be slightly misleading, but this isn’t the kind of video you’re gonna wanna watch in a sensitive office environment. It’s also not the kind of video you’re gonna wanna see if you might have issues watching Mina get intimate with a man (read: a good chunk of the metal community). But if you’re fascinated by Keith’s transition to Mina and her spiritual journey since, and you’re interested in what she’s doing musically these days… then by all means, give it a whirl. It’s about as honest as a piece of music can get: the opening lyric is “Look at me / all of me / I am not a man / I am not a woman.” I really admire the way Mina has embraced her new identity and pushed forward in her music career in spite of all the public venom.

Caputo is seeking $35,000 to finance the physical pressing of her new album Truth, already recorded, along with a book featuring her own artwork. Support the Indiegogo campaign here.
