Full Album Stream: The Metalocalypse: The Doomstar Requiem A Klok Opera Soundtrack

Did anyone catch Metalocalypse: The Doomstar Requiem A Klok Opera — the new Metalocalypse special — when it aired this past weekend? I haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, but it’s waiting for me on the DVR along with a bowl of my finest haze. Tell us how it was if you were able to watch it! The 75-minute long soundtrack is now streaming in full over at Yahoo music, so you should check that out one way or the other. “Blazing Star,” the only song we’ve heard so far was pretty great, so there’s no reason to think the ‘Klok haven’t delivered the goods this time around too. I’m a few minutes in and so far it sounds like you’d expect an opera to sound in that the emphasis is on the dialogue, delivered via the music, as opposed to on the instruments like usual Dethklok material. This is truly Dethklok in Broadway form!
