“Killers & Kings”: The Countdown to New Machine Head Material Begins

Alright, now some good news to counteract the bad! If you’re jonesin’ for some Machine Head, well, you just have to hold in until April 19  — ’cause Robb Flynn has now made the following announcement via Facebook:

So that’s pretty rad, no? I’m not entirely clear on the Ignite part… Our Darkest Days is the name of an Ignite album, but there is no title track, and I doubt MH are gonna cover the ENTIRE record. Whichever song they choose to cover, though, it oughta be good — it’s very easy to see how Ignite might be Machine Headafied.

Flynn also offered this update on the progress of their new album:

“Nothing short of exciting” indeed! Hopefully the new Machine Head album will be released before the year is through.
