Suicide Silence Announce Tour with Two Good Bands and Emmure

Finding out about the next Suicide Silence North American headlining tour made me feel very much the way I imagine Jeff Hanneman felt when he went to the hospital with that near-fatal spider bite: he was probably relieved that doctors didn’t have to amputate his arm, but still totally heartbroken when he realized that the infection was bad enough to derail his career as a guitarist.

Likewise, I’m happy to see Suicide Silence touring with Fit For An Autopsy and Within the Ruins — they could call this The Deathcore That Doesn’t Suck Tour! — but I’m heartbroken to see Emmure on the bill. Even as a built-in bar break, Emmure’s presence is kinda ruinous — if I wanted to drink overpriced, watered down beers while horrible music played in the background, I’d go to TGIFriday’s.
