Watch the “Changing Earth” from the Ohio Sky

Okay okay okay, so Ohio Sky aren’t really a metal band, like, at all. But they do have metal cred: keyboardist Patrick Finegan appeared on Chimaira’s The Age of Hell, and made the music videos and documentaries for that band’s final album, Crown of Phantoms.

Even if this wasn’t the case, though, you should still check out this band — especially if you like other dreamy-yet-hard-edged rockers like the Deftones or Junius. And if, like Vince, you dig Dredg, you will definitely get into Ohio Sky.

The band has now released way-sweet, super-druggy video — also a Finegan joint! — for the song “Changing Earth,” which appears on their album The Big Distraction. I wonder if the title is referring to this video? Hm…
