Help Replace “Pit Full of Shit” Producer Frank Huang’s Stolen Camera

If you’ve been to a show at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn over the past three or four years, you have seen Frank Huang. He’s the dude standing atop a bar table on either side of the room, patiently perched behind his tripod-mounted video camera. At EVERY. SINGLE. FUCKING. SHOW. He films at the Acheron, too, and a number of other venues around NYC. The guy is a metal show-filming machine! His Pit Full of Shit video series on Metal Injection has quickly become an institution.

Unfortunately for Frank — and for all of us, given the incredible service he provides to the metal community the world over COMPLETELY FOR FREE — some scumbag wanted to harsh on his mellow and swiped his gear from the Acheron, which was robbed on Sunday night, July 26th. Frank is seeking $5,500 to help replace the gear he lost, and he’s already raised more than $2,800 in just one day, a testament to how much the metal community appreciates his work. Frank is a super humble and kind dude and hates asking for help. But how many hours have we all spent watching his stuff? Surely you can spare a few bucks for all he’s given you so far, and will continue to do in the future.
