Dave Mustaine’s mansion sells… but who’s buying?

If you’re a metalhead in the San Diego area with $5 million sitting around, maybe you’re buying: Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine is selling his mansion for the measly sum of $5.375 million!

The five bedroom, five bathroom, English-tyled home is centered on a 9.5 acre parcel in the San Diego outskirt of Fallbrook, CA, about an hour north of the city. The LA Times says the house’s 5,000+ square feet has a “castle-like air” with plenty of stained glass, wrought iron and 10 fireplaces (!) and the property’s got vineyards, pastureland, a pool and a pond. And, um, an English-style phone booth. A “state of the art recording studio” occupies what was once a pool house, naturally, and it looks pretty badass.

Not included: whackadoo conspiracy theories, red hair dye or the hard drives from the Super Collider recording sessions.
