Killswitch Engage Premiere New Song and Video, “Hate by Design”

Am I crazy, or is Killswitch Engage’s new single, “Hate by Design,” their best song in ages? No joke: not sure they’ve written anything this kick-ass since 2006’s As Daylight Dies. It’s not that they’ve changed the now-well-worn KSE formula — it’s just that this is probably the best possible version of that formula. The guitars — so heavy! The vocals — so catchy! And that guitar solo!!! I’m into it.
