Can You “Believe” This American Head Charge Song?

American Head Charge - Career Trajectory

I actually have something nice to say about American Head Charge!

Unfortunately (well, indifferently, if I’m being honest), I also have to say something to get to the nice part. Oh well.

So, the mean part: Metal Insider has debuted a new AHC song, “Let All the World Believe.” Ninety-nine percent of it is basically just a straight-up, very lame ape of the opening track from Marilyn Manson’s Antichrist Superstar, “Irresponsible Hate Anthem.”

Now, the nice part: I actually dig the chorus of “Let All the World Believe”! It’s catchy. It’s heavy. It doesn’t sound dated. The appeal of it is not lost on me.

So, yeah, it’s too bad the rest of the song blows, but, hey, nobody’s perfect.

Listen to “Let All the World Believe” below. American Head Charge’s latest foray into 90s revivalism, Tango Umbrella, comes out March 25 on Napalm Records. I believe they signed the band after losing a bet to Frontiers.
