Before there were blogs there were these things called magazines, and the only metal magazine we still get excited about reading every month is Decibel. Here’s editor-in-chief Albert Mudrian…

By the time you read this, I will have hauled ass down to Baltimore’s Soundstage for tonight’s opening date of this year’s Decibel Magazine Tour. We’ve been banging on about this lineup since November, but in the event your reading comprehension is what I imagine it to be, check this out: Ex-Immortal frontman Abbath makes his U.S. debut with his eponymous new band. Direct support comes from riff lords High on Fire, the now-Adam-Clemans-fronted Skeletonwitch and 2015 Decibel Album-of-the-Year runners-up Tribulation. You want more? OK, fine, well “throw in” our 2015 Decibel Album-of-the-Year winners Horrendous as a special guest tonight only. Get your tickets here.

And in the event you aren’t within spitting distance of Bodymore, Murderland, we’ve got 22 other shots for you to get your crabwalk on:
