Financial Problems Cause Monuments to Pull Out of Tour with The Contortionist

In the wake of vocalist Chris Barretto having to drop off the tour for personal problems, the rest of Monuments have dropped off their tour with The Contortionist due to financial reasons. I could offer you some sort of lengthy description of what they said, but I’m sure you’d rather just hear it from Facebook instead:

Friends,

We must regrettably inform you that Baltimore will be the last show for us on tour with the contortionist, Entheos and sleepmakeswaves. We’ve tried everything in our power to continue to the end of the tour, but financially, we just can’t make it happen.

A huge apology to those of you who were coming to see us at one of the remaining shows, but PLEASE go along and see the tour, buy some merchandise and support live music.

Thanks to everyone who checked out the instrumental set on this tour. We had a blast.

Maximum love to Contorts, Entheos, sleepmakeswaves and all crew for understanding. Yall rule.

So yeah, this sucks. Monuments are great and it sucks that they can’t finish their tour, but they made it a pretty solid way through the run and shit happens; sometimes bands just can’t make it work. We’re looking forward to seeing Monuments back on the road as soon as possible.
