Hellyeah’s Unden!able to Feature Previously Unreleased Dimebag Recording

So apparently Hellyeah’s new album, Unden!able, will feature a cover of Phil Collins’ “I Don’t Care Anymore.” That might not necessarily be news on its own, especially given how many of us have already made up our minds about Hellyeah’s work. But here’s why we’re all gonna listen to this cover the second we’re able to do so: according to guitarist Tom Maxwell, it will feature Dimebag.

Maxwell made the revelation during a recent interview with Illinois radio station 97.7 WQLZ (via Blabbermouth):

“Dime and Vinnie [Paul, duh] recorded that track years ago and we went in and dug up his tracks and put it on the record, man. So we’ve got a little Dime… Dime’s on our album.”

Before you crack wise about Dime not being able to object, remember that Nickelback have already gotten their hands on archived Dime recordings and the world continued to spin. Between the Dime cameo and the fact that Hellyeah didn’t write it, this could end up being Unden!able‘s strongest track.

Unden!able comes out June 3 on Eleven Seven. The Phil Collins original is below if you’re curious/don’t remember it/whatever.
