Exclusive Track Premiere: Something is Waiting Reach “New Lows In Hell”

0

Something is Waiting… and that something is awesome: a new band featuring not only members of Jar’d Loose and (Lone) Wolf and Cub, but guitarist Pete Grossman, owner of Chicago’s Bricktop Recording (Weekend Nachos, Like Rats, etc.). As you might imagine based on the quartet’s lineage, Something is Waiting make a stripped-down racket so snotty and unconcerned with the niceties of mainstream society it would have scared the shit out of The Sex Pistols in their prime. Or, as frontman (and MetalSucks rasslin’ scholar) Eddie Gobbo puts it:

“My goal with this band was to write the most paranoid alternative rock ever. Metallic garage rock. Today Is The Day meets White Lung, if you will. Heavy influence from 70’s rockers like Creedence, Alice Cooper, ZZ Top.”

MetalSucks is proud to debut the track “New Lows in Hell” from Something is Waiting’s debut album, The Something is Waiting Band. It drops July 22 on The Path Less Traveled Records. Remember to play that shit LOUD, man!
